ADA HEALTH FOUNDATION
Client: American Dental Association
Project: ADA Health Foundation Logo
Role: Creative Director, Visual Designer
The Challenge: The American Dental Association approached us about re-imagining the identity for their governmental liaison arm. The client wanted to retain a measure of their brand equity, yet allow this wing of the organization to stand alone.
After exploring several directions, I arrived at this solution, leveraging the double-stroked portions of the letter forms in the original brand to extend on the second "A" in the logo to create the stripes of a stylized American flag, allowing the draping of the flag to be cradled by the word mark placed below.
So when I'm not solving the world's UX problems, you can usually find me behind a mic and a guitar...at any bar or church that will have me.
In both my profession and avocation, I've found that the best work I've done comes in the context of ensemble. I love collaboration.

I had the pleasure of working together with Ron on a months-long project for a large commercial real estate company seeking to unify its sales technologies in a single immersive experience. On this project, Ron was a trusted colleague who wore a number of hats: He drove hardware and application testing, designed great-looking presentation material for C-level recipients, and efficiently generated a variety of UIUX and interface solutions that addressed frictions in a range of use cases. On a number of occasions, I recall Ron going above and beyond to prep and deliver on-time for this challenging project.
In our day-to-day work together, I also got to know Ron on a more personal level. He's really affable, good-natured colleague whose sense of humor often helped keep things in perspective. He was a great partner on the project.
